		<description><![CDATA[I agree with you completely, Steve. I like the idea of getting all my content in podcast format. But I get tired quickly of all these companies jumping on board the podcasting band wagon and saying, &quot;We are cool, we are podcasting!&quot; when all they are really doing is rehashing old content.

The fact that they can dedicate and commit their true podcast only content goes a long way to validate podcasting as a competitive media distribution method and will also help entrench them as a leader and innovator by not only accepting this new distribution method, but also but giving time and resources to creating new and unique programming.

One last point... CNN has created unique content with their &#039;behind the scenes&#039; and &#039;from the cutting room floor&#039; programs. These programs most likely would not succeed published to their current 6 o&#039;clock news crowd because it&#039;s not the mainstream news and it is not tailored towards the same demogrphic audience. However, it will promote them to higher status with us younger folks who prefer to get content in different ways and who don&#039;t watch news on the television.

(am i talking out both sides of my mouth? yes i am. but i am a podcast evangelist and a normal human as well and can see both sides of the argument.)]]></description>

If I could subscribe to the television shows I wanted to watch, and watch them at my leisure, I would never watch traditional TV again.  I don&#039;t have cable or satellite TV, so I would welcome the same content that is shown on television as a podcast with open arms.

Podcasting is just a method of content distribution.  It just happens to be a method with a low barrier to entry.  What difference does it make what the content is or what it was originally produced for?  If you like it, you subscribe to it.  End of story.]]></description>
